The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.
SASSA might be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency said it is actually alarmed about the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated status sassa Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The services level designed for intervention experiences a superior influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for the Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to permit the servicing of all clients and increase usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
